Kemal Gani Bayraktar

Dr. Kemal Gani Bayraktar is a mechanical engineer with the background in the field of energy. He worked for insulation industry and participated in several EU-funded reseach projects and UNDP funded development projects. He attended Chevening Fellowship Program on “More Efficient Energy Consumption” funded by Foreign & Commonwealth Office at De Montfort University, Leicester, UK between January-March 2007. His interests are mainly focused on energy, renewables, insulation and construction technologies, policy, environment and climate change, low carbon economy, innovation, sustainability, circularity, transform and growth, clustering, SMEs, global partnerships and vocational training. He is actively participating to regulatory works and working in NGOs. He was the member of IMSAD, IZODER, PANELDER, IAEE, Clean Energy Foundation and representing solar energy industry as the Past President of Turkish Solar Energy Society, GÜNDER (ISES-TR). Currently he is carrying responsibilities as Vice President of International Solar Energy Society, ISES, Vice President of The Federation of European Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning associations, REHVA and also representing HVAC industry as the President of Turkish Society of HVAC & Sanitary Engineers, TTMD. He is also representing Republic of Turkey as ExCo Member in International Energy Agency Solar Heating Cooling Technical Collaboration Program and as Member in IEA Energy Conservation Through Energy Storage and Enery in Buildings and Communities TCPs.
