Alkım Bağ Güllü, has graduated from ODTU, with a bachelors degree in International Relations following a Masters Programme in the University of Keele on the subject of International Relations and Energy Policies.
Alkım Bağ Güllü, started her professional career in 2003 within the defense industry until 2006 where she switched to British Council as a Governance and Community Projects Coordinator. During her role in the British Council, she was able to take part in projects made by various governmental institutions, such as: Prime Ministry, Ministry of Education, Treasury and Foreign Trade Undersecretariat and various Metropolitan Municipalities. Later on in 2008, Alkım Bağ Güllü, started working in the renewable energy industry as a part of Polat Energy, taking the following roles in chronological order; Renewable Energy Projects Unit Director, Wind-Power Projects Director and Strategy Director. During her work in between 2008 and 2020, she has been the part of a total installment process of 700MW total installed capacity in terms of Wind Power taking active duty on project development, investment analysis, project financing and construction. Due to her experience in various duties and different directorial positions she was able to master the renewable energy industry and its legislation.
