İhsan Erbil Bayçöl holds an MBA from Sabancı University, a BS in Civil Engineering from Boğaziçi University, and completed MS-level studies in Organizational Psychology at İstanbul Bilgi University. His academic background is further strengthened by advanced executive programs in Corporate Finance, Valuation, and C-Level Leadership Development.

Between 2008 and 2018, Bayçöl served as Strategy and Business Development Director at Enerjisa, where he played a pivotal role in the company’s demerger process as Head of the IPO Team, led acquisitions exceeding USD 5 billion, and oversaw the development of large-scale power plant investments.

Between 2018 and 2019, Bayçöl served as Deputy General Manager at Enerjisa Üretim. During this period, he led critical transformation projects, particularly across thermal power plants and information technologies, and managed a diversified asset portfolio with a focus on operational excellence, risk management, and organizational transformation.

With extensive experience in the energy sector and expertise in corporate and digital transformation, İhsan Erbil Bayçöl has been serving as Chief Executive Officer of Enerjisa Üretim since 2020. In addition to his current role, he serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at Enerjisa Üretim, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Enerjisa Enerji, and President of Strategic Investments and Operations at Sabancı Holding.

İhsan Erbil Bayçöl is also a Board Member of YASED – International Investors Association.
