Communications Assistant

Hafize Süeda Özen completed her undergraduate studies in Political Science and Public Administration at Marmara University. Throughout her academic studies, she focused on sustainability and environmental policies and served as the project lead for “The Importance of Education in Acquiring Waste Sorting Behavior,” carried out within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program. In this role, she managed field research, budget, and data management processes.

Working as a research intern in the Climate Change cluster at Sabancı University Istanbul Policy Center (IPC), Süeda took an active role in corporate website content management, the preparation of press summaries and research reports, as well as the organizing committees of national events focused on climate change and just transition. Additionally, she completed internship programs in project management at TNC Group Companies and corporate operations at Türkiye Halk Bankası.

In addition to Turkish and English, Süeda has intermediate knowledge of Ottoman Turkish.
