\u0130hsan Erbil Bay\u00e7\u00f6l holds an MBA from Sabanc\u0131 University, a BS in Civil Engineering from Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i University, and completed MS-level studies in Organizational Psychology at \u0130stanbul Bilgi University. His academic background is further strengthened by advanced executive programs in Corporate Finance, Valuation, and C-Level Leadership Development.<\/p>\r\n

With an extensive career in the energy sector and deep expertise in corporate and digital transformation, \u0130hsan Erbil Bay\u00e7\u00f6l has been serving as\u00a0Chief Executive Officer of Enerjisa \u00dcretim since 2020. In addition to his executive role, he currently serves as\u00a0Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at Enerjisa \u00dcretim,\u00a0Chairman of the Board of Directors at Enerjisa Enerji, and\u00a0President of Strategic Investments and Operations at Sabanc\u0131 Holding.<\/p>\r\n

Under Bay\u00e7\u00f6l\u2019s leadership, Enerjisa \u00dcretim has secured strategic renewable energy investments, expanded its footprint into Southeastern Europe, and pioneered innovative digital business models\u2014positioning the company as a frontrunner in sustainability and advanced green energy solutions.<\/p>\r\n

Previously, he held the position of\u00a0Deputy General Manager at Enerjisa \u00dcretim between 2018 and 2019, where he led major transformation initiatives across thermal assets and IT, managing a diversified asset portfolio with a strong focus on operational excellence, risk management, and organizational transformation.<\/p>\r\n

Between\u00a02008 and 2018, Bay\u00e7\u00f6l served as\u00a0Strategy & Business Development Director at Enerjisa, where he played a pivotal role in the company\u2019s demerger process as Head of the IPO Team, led acquisitions exceeding\u00a0USD 5 billion, and oversaw the development of large-scale power plant investments.<\/p>\r\n

\u0130hsan Erbil Bay\u00e7\u00f6l is also a\u00a0Board Member of the YASED \u2013 International Investors Association.<\/p>\r\nIn 2006, he was transferred to the newly established TOBB University of Economics and Technology. He was the founding Managing Director of the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV) in 2004 which is the first and only economic policy think tank in Turkey. G\u00fcven Sak writes on economic issues for D\u00fcnya, and H\u00fcrriyet Daily News.
