\r\n\r\nKorkut \u00d6zt\u00fcrkmen currently serves as the CEO and Vice Chairman of the Board at Energo-Pro T\u00fcrkiye.<\/span>\r\n\r\nWith over 30 years of experience in the energy sector, he has held several senior leadership roles in major Turkish and international energy companies.<\/span>\r\n\r\nFrom 2019 to 2024, \u00d6zt\u00fcrkmen served as a Board Member and Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee at Aksa Energy, where he managed a 2,700+ MW operational generation portfolio and oversaw the development of over 2,000 MW of new energy projects.<\/span>\r\n\r\nBetween 2019 and 2021, he held the position of Energy Group President and Board Member at IC \u0130\u00e7ta\u015f Energy Group. In this capacity, he led key operations, including the Trakya Distribution and Retail Company (7 TWh), the Yenik\u00f6y Kemerk\u00f6y Lignite Power Plant (1,050 MW), and a 400 MW renewable energy portfolio developed in partnership with the EBRD.<\/span>\r\n\r\nFrom 2007 to 2009, \u00d6zt\u00fcrkmen was the Country Manager of OMV T\u00fcrkiye, where he directed the company\u2019s entry into the Turkish energy market and contributed to major strategic initiatives such as the Nabucco Natural Gas Pipeline and renewable power projects.<\/span>\r\n\r\nLater, from 2009 to 2019, he served as a Board Member and General Manager of OMV T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s Power Business Unit, overseeing the development of the Samsun Natural Gas Power Plant (890 MW, \u20ac600 million) and implementing OMV\u2019s global asset-based electricity trading strategy.<\/span>\r\n\r\n\u00d6zt\u00fcrkmen began his career at Ko\u00e7 Holding\u2019s Strategic Planning and Energy Group (1996\u20132007), where he played pivotal roles in the development and financing of strategic investments and privatization projects across the electricity, natural gas, and oil sectors.<\/span>\r\n\r\nA graduate of Robert College, he holds dual bachelor\u2019s degrees in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i University.
